Tropicbird( Phaethontidae ) : I have seen a few Tropicbirds but they have, apart from four, all been outside good camera distance. They have also all been in the Pacific.

11th June 2013 in the Pacific. Onboard AAL Brisbane ( somewhere between Northern Luzon & Western PNG ). This one had flown into the ship, I think.

11th June 2013. It was found after breakfast and had a bloody bump over its right forehead.

The bird did manage to fly away pretty easily after it was cleaned up
